Urgh!!

All weekend, all I saw on tv were ads for valentine's day. Do we singles really need a reminder that we are alone? Another annoying reminder, as my friend Lauren pointed out, is that damn Pilsbury buscuit commercial- now they sell them in 2's, because, apparently, "everything is better in pairs." Thank-you, Pilsbury for rubbing salt in our wounds. Where's "Singles Day?" Where is the holiday that celebrates not being with someone. Or "Happy Lonely Day." Or "Congratulations on NOT settling Day." Or "Cat-Lady Day."
