Looks like I won't be making it to tonight's Happy Hour. My kitty, Munchkin, spent a rough day at the vet's and has a UTI. So, since she's had such a bad day (and I'll probably be spending the entire evening trying to give her medication), I would feel like an asshole if I put her through that, then left her alone all night. Yes, I'm a crazy cat lady. But how can I not be? Look at how freaking cute she is (*I promise this will be the only time I post pictures of my cat on here...and if I start knitting sweaters for her, please call the guys in the white coats).

Oh Ash. Sorry to hear about your kitty. I don't have such an excuse. I'm just an old lady trying to rest up before a long run tomorrow morning. Hope she feels better!

Awww, poor kitty! Give her a hug for me! Hope she feels much better very soon. Take it from a fellow crazy cat lady, you are a good cat mother for spending time with your cat while she recuperates, or at least starts the road to recovery.
Very noble of you to take care of the cat. However I will be more than happy to personally call in the padded van if you start in with the sweaters.
We'll just have to make sure we meet at the next one. No more family emergencies for us both!
