Today, the 34th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, is Blog for Choice day (click on the pic above to read more).
Luckily, I have never had to make that choice. And I don't know what I would do in that situation, but the point is that I have the choice. We all have the choice. Please make your opinion known- especially considering the Supreme Court is now largely republican.

OMG. Did you read the cover story of yesterday's NYT Magazine section? Made my blood bloody boil. Anti-abortion activists are using muddy scientific claims to reframe the language of the choice debate. It's horrid on so many levels--not the least of which is preying on the less than stellar socio-economic circumstances of certain women to gain traction for a very complex political issue. Grr.
Amen. I disagree that personal choice is the *one* thing the gov't has no business laying its filthy, me-financed hands on ... but yeah.
If the government wants to 'own' women, then they can tell them what to do in that situation, but given we're in AMERICA and have FREEDOM, then what's the fucking question?
FREE CHOICE BABY!!
i'm all for abortion.
do you know the real name of "jane roe"?
Norma McCorvey.
She became a prominent anti-choice activist.
I am thankful that I have the right to choose.
I don't know what I would decide but depending on the situation it could be difficult.
I went with a friend when she got an abortion and we both cried the entire time.
It is a huge moment in my life and I realized how judgemental some could be but how much more empathetic I wanted to be.
I'm more annoyed by the claims that abortion is linked to breast cancer. As someone who made that choice, I am thankful everyday that it was mine to make and that it was available to me.
