Of course I would be flying on a day that the terror threat was elevated. Mental note- take any liquids (lotion, etc) out of my purse and pack it in my suitcase. Damn. What if my hands get dry?

When they say no liquids, I wonder if they'll cancel the beverage service on the flights? Never thought of that! Ah ha!
Anyway, best of luck with your dry hands during the flight and fly safely.
good thing your not lactating...LOL...I heard the moms were told to taste their breast milk, to prove that's what it was...EWWWWW!! anyways...I just hope you have a safe flight..I will be worrying until your home safe and sound...so IM or email me when you get back, please, just to put my mind at ease...You know me...perpetual worrier...Sorry about that...but at least you know I care:)

next time, fly with FedEx. just stuff yourself into a big box with all the liquids you want. they'll treat you better than the passenger airlines will.

This morning I heard that some women refused to stow their toiletries and makeup because they wanted to use them at their seats.
Um, hello, you're getting on a PLANE. What were you planning to do -- open up a frickin beauty counter??
I think it was only bad for a day or two. I flew from a major airport on Saturday. I was a little worried about the new policies, but they didn't affect me at all. Security was fast and easy (if a bit rude) and I got some water from the crew as soon as I got on board. It's good to be home.
aawww I felt for people that had to fly that day. In OR out of the country.
