Tell you what, we can trade. You live in Edmonton, I'll move to DC and live happily ever after!
I know you're not complaining, just observing.
I don't think I could deal with the cold weather. If anything, I would be moving south.
Well, out of "arrogant", "pompous", and "republican"... which is the worst? I say the last one.
Who cares if the clubs have overpriced drinks... just do a few Upside Down Cement Mixers at home before you head out and you'll be all set =;-) =;-)
At least you have nightlife worth writing about.
Are you pandering to Wonkette angain, Ash? Admit it. And mild weather? in DC? Next thing you'll be saying it never rains in Florida.
I didn't know DC was so multicultural. I'll have to keep that in mind.
So many of these Pros and Cons are also applicable to Cleveland. Many people around here forget how to drive when a raindrop or snowflake fall from the sky.
66- yes, the last one is definitely the worst of the 3. But even worse than that- the guys that I meet that are all 3. Ick.
VK- so are you saying that you are arrogant and pompous; just not a republican? Well, I guess that's not too bad then :-)
minijonb- yeah, that's why I bring my trusty flask. although, if it's going to be a crazy night I do a few shots of absinthe.
V- excellent point. I do see a lot of PSU stickers on cars...
Dade- haha! Busted! and yes, DC has mild weather- our winters aren't too too bad, and neither are our summers. Wait, it rains in Florida???
Lebatron- yes, very multicultural.
alien- that's surprising. I would think that people in Ohio wouldn't be too affected by bad weather.
"arrogant", "pompous", and "republican"...
i guess one out of three is ok with me. sorry i'm not arrogant and pompous so i could manage a trifecta.
I'm not sure I'm adventurous enough to sample a lot of ethnic foods. I imagine some are definitely an acquired taste. Good choice of photo, DC is even more beautiful at night.
mgc- republicans scare me :-)
furtive- you are right on both accounts. I'm pretty adventurous when it comes to food, but I've found that a lot of ethnic foods really do taste horrible. and DC is definitely a beautiful city- especially at night.
that is too bad. i don't bite... well, at least not hard enough to not get some pleaseure out of it ;D
trust me, it's not the biting that worries me- it's the fact that all of you republicans carry guns :-)
ash,
this could really get dirty very quickly... "oh i carry a gun alright...
i don't carry a gun! i couldn't carry a gun because i would want to shoot stupid people (of both parties)!
I don't know...for me, I was beginning to believe it never DID rain in Florida...then it rained yesterday...so...whatever...lol... but God knows, Hurricane season is only like a week or two away, so I'm sure it will rain and rain...and then rain some more...now I don't remember the point of this post...lol..sorry...anyways...talk to ya later...where have you been??? I haven't seen you in forever...and american idol isn't the same with Chris gone...okay..enough rambling..take care girl
:)Just me
That's a great list.
Personally, I think the summers suck but that's just me. Too humid!
Can I get this etched on a plaque and installed on a wall somewhere?? This is great!
FYI, I don't call it "aggressive" driving. I call it "assertive" driving. ;)
